This was one of my favourite and most emotional sessions to date. I had the pleasure of photographing Madison and Everly when Everly was still in her mommy's tummy! Then I got to meet Everly earth side in this beautiful Motherhood session just a couple hours outside of Kamloops in 100 Mile House. Aren't they both stunning?

Motherhood is hands down one of the most magical experiences, I know this firsthand. It's also hard. It's filled with fear, tears, struggles, sleepless nights and anxiety. It is also filled with so much love and joy that it feels like our hearts may explode. There is no greater bond than between a Mother and Child. Moms are often so selfless and put themselves last, as our children are our number one priority. A Motherhood shoot brings you back into the picture. It celebrates and freezes that special bond you have with your child. It also showcases just how amazing you are as a Mama. Motherhood sessions are best captured when your child is between 3-8, but can be captured at any age! Dress up Mama, get your hair and make up done and throw on one of my beautiful Client Closet dresses! I will document all the sweet moments you have with your child and all the little nuances of your unique bond. Let's make some Art!

1. Say Hello
2. reserve your date
Once we have had our initial consult and you've decided that we are a great fit, we will choose your date! Once we've selected your magical day, I will draft up your contract and invoice and send it your way.
Once your contract is signed and retainer is received, you're booked baby!
This is where the creativity comes! ! I'll ask you some brief questions on the vibe you want for your session. This is how I choose my locations. For example: you may want to feel like a greek goddess in the water with flowing fabric, or you may want to be immersed in a lush green forest.
Once we have the vibe set, then we plan the outfits! Outfits are based off of the location and the Client, to make sure its all cohesive, flattering and just overall makes sense for the Art we are creating. All Clients have use of my Client closet, outfits are an important part of the shoot as they set the whole tone! If scheduling allows, I will do a styling consult at your home.
You also have the option of just giving me full reins - I'll tell you what to wear, how to wear your hair and where to go - this is a popular choice!
3. the fun stuff!
The day has arrived, let's have some fun! At this point, you will have been fully prepared for the day so all you need to do is show up.
Most sessions are around 1 hour, however it all depends on the Client and what we are trying to achieve as each session is catered to each client. Sometimes we are done in 45 minutes, sometimes 2 hours. There is no timeline so you don't need to stress.
4. let's shoot!
The moment you've been waiting for has arrived! Its a great day, your beautiful images have just arrived in your inbox!
You fully edited gallery will be delivered to you within 2 weeks (unless otherwise stated) of your shoot date. Once you've chosen your final images and your invoice is paid, they will be released for download where you can ooh and aww over them in hi resolution!
I can also guide you through selecting your Fine Art prints and products - in person appointment can be arranged.
